SENIOR ENGINEER RELIABILITY

Position Summary:
The Senior Reliability Engineer plays a key role in the effective asset management of Ambatovy’s production plant. The primary role of the Senior Reliability Engineer is to identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect Ambatovy’s business objectives in his or her assigned area of responsibility.
The Senior Reliability Engineer will support the implementation of reliability principles and practices to increase equipment availability and reduce maintenance cost.
Position Specific Accountabilities:
- Maximize the Plant throughput and cost effectiveness by identifying the opportunities (Loss profile analysis) and develop detailed implementation plan for improvements.
- Realize Reliability studies as per world class standards with efficiency using data analysis techniques that includes:
- Statistical controls and reliability modeling and prediction.
- Weibull analysis
- Lead multidisciplinary Root Cause Analysis on plant major failures. theses RCA includes latent root causes identification, measurable efficient actions plan and monitoring of implementation.
- define the Ambatovy fixed assets maintenance strategy based on RCM methodology that includes but is not limited to:
- criticality studies,
- Failure Modes and Effect Analysis
- support EAM PM implementation with relevant information
- Work with engineering to ensure that new designs incorporate features that give consideration to equipment reliability and maintainability best practices and meet all the prevailing industry and corporate Standards and Guidelines.
- Participate to the Maintenance Calendar revision with identified major maintenance
- Provide technical assistance to area on major subjects in his dedicated field of expertise
Mentor, coach and train Reliability Engineers to ensure that skills, knowledge and experience are transferred.
Position Specific Requirements:
- Prior experience in a large maintenance organization in an integrated industrial setting
- Recognized experience on RCA, RCM and Loss profiles analysis
- knowledge in reliability technics such as Weibull, LDA, RBD, Degradation analysis & Risk Management
- Has leadership and communication skills with a focus on optimization and continuous improvement
- You have an excellent interpersonal skill with excellent communication skills in French and in English;
- You have a strong organizational skill and are able to work independently;
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience on industrial Asset Management in heavy industries context;
- Holder of an Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical or Electrical
