Responsibilities:
The Medical Specialist is the second-in-command within Ambatovy Medical Services, reporting to the Medical Manager. His/ her role is to oversee the operational quality of medical services across Ambatovy’s three clinic sites operated by International SOS (ISOS), ensuring compliance with company standards, contractual KPIs, and Malagasy regulations. His/her responsibilities include coordinating medical emergency response, leading quality audits, and managing clinic infrastructure and medical equipment. The Medical Specialist also assumes full departmental responsibility in the Medical Manager’s absence.

Required skills:
- Minimum of 6 years’ professional experience as a medical doctor;
- Experience in emergency medicine or remote/industrial site medicine — required;
- Working knowledge of occupational health practices — required;
- Experience in medical quality auditing or clinical quality assurance — strong asset;
- Familiarity with medical administrative processes;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Experience with medical data reporting, documentation, and web-based medical record systems;
- Fluency in Malagasy and French — required; professional-level English — required;
- Registered Medical Doctor.
