PROCESS SAFETY ENGINEER

Your mission:

As a Process Safety Engineer, you support " Head and Area Process Safety Engineers" in data collection, investigations, analysis, development and implementation of solutions. This role also involves executing existing procedures and technical instructions under the direct supervision of the Head Process Safety Engineer with his/her final result checks/controls. 

The position allows you to gain operational experience in engineering and risk management practice with the aim of developing and evolving to eventually be competent as a Operational Area Process Safety Engineer.

Your profile :

• You have a very positive attitude towards learning and motivation in acquiring all available experience and knowledge;
• You are self-confident and able to challenge or obtain clarification on items that seem to deviate from the normal or acceptable or appear unsafe/uncontrolled;
• You are able to identify, search, manage and prioritize information and data for the purpose or objective and also potential further work that may be needed at the end of the original task;
• Have a sense of responsibility, able to learn from all situations for continuous improvement;
• Your ability to communicate in English (both orally and in writing) is desirable;
• You have knowledge and understanding of engineering fundamentals and processes;
• You have an engineering degree (Bacc+5)/or equal tertiary education/experience in chemical process engineering or industrial engineering or mechanical engineering, or other another field of engineering/sciences.
