Responsibilities:
The Specialist Contractor Performance II is a senior role focused on driving contractor performance optimization for highly complex projects, including major shutdowns and maintenance activities. This role is responsible for evaluating contractor efficiency, managing strategic engagements, and identifying high-level improvements in contractor performance. The Analyst II ensures compliance with contractual terms, health and safety standards, and works closely with senior management to provide insights and recommendations that optimize contractor services.
Required skills:
- Strong leadership skills with a continuous improvement approach to guide contractor teams;
- Advanced problem-solving skills to address complex contractor performance issues and implement strategic improvements;
- Ability to effectively manage relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders;
- Rigorous attention to detail in performance monitoring and documentation management for high-value contracts;
- Advanced knowledge of contract management software and tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, MS Office Suite);
- Ability to conduct in-depth analysis, develop insights, and present strategic recommendations to senior management;
- Strong skills in risk identification and mitigation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards;
- Certification in Contract Management or Project Management (e.g., PMP) is highly preferred;
- Experience on shutdown and maintenance expertise is an asset;
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in contract administration, contractor management, or project management, with a focus on high-value, complex projects;
- Holder of a bachelor’s degree (Bacc+3) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field, a master's degree (Bacc+5) is an asset.
