Responsibilities:
The Lead Operator position acts as the second person in authority for his/her team. In his/her day to day activity, he/she ensures the instructions for the daily activities will be carry out to meet the production as planned, report any deviations or threats that could possibly affect the daily plan. The incumbent helps the supervisor to lead the team, give direction and drives the overall performance of the crew, to ensure that production and maintenance activities are carry out as planned to meet the safety, production and product quality targets set by the Management team.

- Able to provide leadership qualities with a focus on mentoring and developing personnel;
- Ability to plan and organize the daily tasks, utilize time and manpower productively to achieve daily targets;
- Able to priorities activities and deal with changing priorities;
- Safety oriented, carry out safety policy and procedures to ensure the Health and Safety of all workers and Environmental compliance;
- At least 5 years’ experience in operational role;
- Computer literacy and experience with the Microsoft Office suite of programs;
- Fluent in French and Malagasy, English is a definite asset;
- A good communicator in both oral and written forms, as the incumbent is required to work with all levels of the operations and management team;
- Holder a Bac+2 Degree, Certified Control Room Operator and Permit Coordinator.
