 Responsibilities:  
The incumbent is responsible of coordination on-site project construction, including coordination and supervision of Contractors during construction stage of a project and supporting Project Engineers in delivering the project in the Execution Phase.

  Required skills:
  • A minimum of 3 years of construction coordination / supervision of contractors/sub-contractors experience in complex chemical, hydrometallurgical projects or refineries. Preference is given to the candidates with previous experience in multiple projects with individual project value of US$5M or higher;
  • Good understanding of construction operations and processes;
  • Background in management of change and risk assessment;
  • Good construction supervision/coordination experience;
  • A good background in the supervision of technical personnel and construction personnel;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Familiarity with CAD Software with strong ability to ready and interpret construction;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to use MS Project;
  • Demonstrated track record of training and developing subordinates to assume positions of greater responsibility in the organization;
  • Fluency in French is required fluency in English will be a strong asset;
  • Good relationship building and management skills:
  • Holder a degree or diploma in chemical, mechanical, industrial or electrical engineering (or equivalent), preference given to candidates with complementary training in construction. management
