Responsibilities:
The Specialist Shutdown Contractor & Resources will have the direct responsibility to advise, initiate, coordinate and administrate all the services required to perform any Shutdown, including Contractors from Tendering to SRN, Infrastructures, Accommodation, Visas, Mobile Equipment, Trainings, Tools, etc., for an effective shutdown execution.
From the respective Shutdown Scopes, the incumbent advises and works in consultation to research and then arranges suitable options for contractors, mobile equipment, internal resources, special tools and services. Then, once approved by the respective Superintendent, she/he is in charge to deploy, coordinate and report on the plan
Required skills:
- Good knowledge of corporate systems (EAM, SAP, Ellipse or similar) material management systems (BAAN), and desktop tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational and communication skills up to manager level;
- Collaborative attitude and service minded;
- Knowledge of best practices in safety and site safety procedures;
- Fluent in both written and verbal English and French;
- 5 years leadership experience with excellent influencing skills;
- 5 years contracts management experience preferable;
- 5 years operations experience in a process plant environment (chemical, gas, power or minerals) highly adaptable and positive, keen to learn and improve the resource coordination process;
