Responsibilities:
You are accountable for designing, deploying, and auditing the Ambatovy Production System (APS) governance framework across the site. This role plays a decisive role in diagnosing APS maturity across departments and in defining the technical solutions required to close maturity gaps. The incumbent leads the development of APS standards, conducts systematic audits, and uses those results to drive both structural improvements and tailored technical interventions.

The incumbent leads the development of APS standards, conducts systematic audits, and uses those results to drive both structural improvements and tailored technical interventions.
Required skills:
- In-depth understanding in APS/TPS deployment, maturity models, and audit frameworks;
- Technical design and rollout of performance systems (VMBs, KPI dashboards, OEE);
- Data & digital solution development with practical user focus (Power BI, Airtable, mobile apps);
- Proven experience in designing maturity frameworks, auditing, and deploying digital tools to support cross-functional performance
- ERP integration and analytics for operational support;
- Pragmatic, hands-on problem solver, able to transform diagnosis into delivered tools;
- A minimum 15 years in industrial operations, with 7+ years in leadership roles focused on standardization, technical deployment, and operational systems;
- Experience leading technical teams focused on enabling operations);
- You holder a Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field / Certification in Asset Management or related fields (e.g., IAM, PMP) preferred.
Position Specific Accountabilities:
- Develop and update the APS Handbook, including audit models, standards, and performance routines (VMBs, OEE, KPI dictionary).
- Conduct APS maturity assessments across departments and analyze audit results to identify factual, site-specific performance gaps.
- Translate audit findings into concrete technical development plans, including solution scoping, prioritization, and implementation of enablers.
- Supervise and coordinate the deployment of digital tools and platforms (dashboards, mobile inspection apps, ERP add-ons) to address identified maturity gaps.
- Oversee the maintenance and governance of performance routines, ensuring cross-functional ownership and compliance.
- Lead and structure the APS recognition and accountability program, based on maturity scores and demonstrated adherence to standards.
- Align with the Superintendent – Asset Performance Optimization for issues linked to behavioral coaching or continuous improvement dynamics.
- Ensure all deployed technical solutions (digital tools, analytics, reporting systems) are fit-for-purpose, scalable, and owned by the user departments.
- Supervise the development team to deliver actionable, field-ready tools with high adoption and minimal complexity.
- Act as main point of contact for departmental leads to translate operational bottlenecks into APS-enabled technical solutions.
