Engineer DCS

Responsibilities:

Your role is to ensure proper functioning and zero interruption of all automated systems. You’ll provide the necessary technical support and recommendation to the operation process and to the maintenance teams in preventive, in corrective maintenance activities, in troubleshooting and also provide a projects improvement, participate in upgrade activities. You also have a role in hardware and software configuration, programming, installation, testing and commissioning Distributed Control System (DCS) including interfacing systems.

Required skills:

• You have knowledge of P&ID, instrumentation, regulation P, PI, PD, PID;
• High Knowledge in OS / AS system, PCS7, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Process Control narrative (PCN), Process Hazard System Analysis (PHA);
• Experience with configuration hardware/software in Siemens and Schneider product: S300, S400, S700;
• Deep Knowledge in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), WinCC flexible;
• High knowledge in networking, in topology and communication link: PROFIBUS, MODBUS, fiber optical, ethernet system, CAN bus, …
• Proficiency in English and French for effective verbal communication and good writing skills;
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point);
• Strong organizational, adaptation, planning, learning and familiarization skills;
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in a similar position;
• Holder of an Engineering Degree in Electricity or Informatics or Instrumentation or Equivalent.
• Has a category B driving license.
