Responsibilities:
You are responsible for embedding a culture of continuous improvement, operational discipline, and field-driven performance enhancement across Ambatovy. You lead the site-wide deployment of lean practices and coordinate the operational performance analysis, ensuring data-driven identification of tactical improvement opportunities, through structured review of plant and mine performance trends.

You lead the site-wide deployment of lean practices and coordinate the operational performance analysis, ensuring data-driven identification of tactical improvement opportunities, through structured review of plant and mine performance trends.
Required skills:
- In-depth understanding of asset management principles, standardization processes, and continuous improvement methodologies;
- Performance monitoring and analysis (OEE, downtime, trends);
- Proven track record in delivering structured, sustainable improvement programs across departments;
- Strong lean methodology (Kaizen, 5S, Root Cause Analysis, VMB);
- Coaching and facilitation of cross-functional teams;
- High interpersonal maturity to lead horizontally and influence line ownership / Natural field presence and coaching leadership style;
- Strong sense of collaboration – works “through others” to enable performance;
- A minimum 15 years in operations or industrial environments, with 7+ years in leadership roles focused on Lean deployment, team coaching, or plant performance improvement;
- Experience in building and leading cross-functional field routines (5S, OEE, VMB);
- You holder a Master’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management or related field / Certification in Lean Management (e.g. Black Belt) required.
