Lean advisor

Role Purpose:

Provides support, training and coaching in the embedding of business improvement initiatives and the implementation of the Continuous Improvement Culture across the business.Drives breakthrough projects that deliver high value return.

Role Specific Accountabilities:

  • Assists in the development and deployment of business improvement method and tools, in line with the business improvement strategy/plan.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement projects and support/develop effective project scopes.
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with leaders and employees.
  • Provides technical support to project stakeholders.
  • Delivers training for business improvement tools and methodologies using training standards and material.
  • Lead/Facilitate BI initiatives and projects

Education, Experience, Designations:

  • Certified Lean Advisor or Green Belt
  • 5 years’ experience to similar position.
  • Bacc +4 in management, organisation

Certification Criteria:

  • Has lead 2 DMAIC projects using many BI tools within the 1st 12-month following the Lean facilitator training
  • Has facilitated 2 DMAIC Fanatsarana (Kaizen)
  • Has provided 10 coaching sessions (30 min./session) total: 5 hours
  • Has helped 2-3 Lean Facilitators up to certification
  • Has provided 10 practical problem solving sessions
  • Successfully passes the 2 exams during the Lean Facilitator training (80% min.)
  • All the above to be reviewed by external by Lean Expert
