Supervisor ERM and QMS

Role Purpose:

The ERM /QMS supervisor is responsible to ensure the day to day implementation and on-going improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management programme and ISO9001 certified Quality Management System.

Role Specific Accountabilities (duties and responsibilities) :

Enterprise Risk Management:

  • Support and contribute to the implementation of agreed improvement initiatives for ERM.
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve the risk management process and to integrate the ERM Programme into other existing processes.
  • Maintain and record ERM performance.
  • Ensure risk owners report on progress of their Risk Mitigation Plans.
  • Ensure implementation of ERM program.

Quality Management System:

  • Ensure execution of internal and external audit program to assess effectiveness of the QMS.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of the ISO9001 certification.
  • Ensure QMS Process Owners and QMS Coordinators receive the necessary support to conduct QMS related work.
  • Timely and effectively support the actions linked to the continuous improvement of the QMS.
  • Monitor and record QMS performance, as well as support (i) the analysis of QMS performance data, (ii) the identification of continuous improvement recommendations, and (iii) communication of performance.
  • Support business direction with regards to HSEQ management.
  • Develop and deliver QMS training module (to QMS coordinators).
  • QMS monthly reports
  • Coordinate the development and publication of Quality topic for the Ambatovy newsletter.
  • Propose improvement on QMS reporting systems

Your profile (job's requirements, qualifications, skills and knowledge)

  • A strong management and leadership skills;
  • Good control of Microsoft Office ;
  • Fluency in oral and written English and French, strong written and oral communication skills;
  • You are familiar with Quality Management Systems (QMS;
  • Good communication skills ;
  • A good understanding of the ISO standard and the risk management process will be an asset;
  • With five years’ experience in implementing, developing or auditing ISO9001 programs and risk management program;
  • Holding a BACC+5 degree in management, business administration or an equivalent degree.
